International audienceUrban resilience is the latest paradigm in risk management because it enables new approaches in facing disasters, when other solutions, focused on risk and vulnerability, have failed. Urban resilience improvement fosters an integrated approach of risks, not limited to protection, and taking into account sustainable development, the local context and urban systems complexity.
