Vehicles equipped with electronics systems are today commonly manufactured. The use and the commercialisation of these systems come from the necessity of the car manufacturers to give to their clients a product capable to have good driving performance together with good safety and comfort. To answer to this customer requirement, it is therefore necessary to put these systems in the new cars.In this thesis different control strategies are proposed to control the lateral dynamics of the vehicle: controllers with good performances for the yaw and roll dynamics are proposed.
