Proposal to Extend the Investment Portfolio of the Hedge Fund

This bachelor thesis focuses on the creation of proposal to extend the investment portfolio of the hedge fund investing in companies stocks in three selected sectors. In theoretical part of this thesis, legal and theoretical aspects of the operation of hedge fund are described, including individual terms related to this fund. Furthermore, financial analysis is defined in theoretical part there. In the practical part, the fund’s statute and initial selection of suitable companies is specified. Then the selected companies are analyzed, compared and verified by a bankruptcy model. According to all results, in the last part of this thesis the composition of the portfolio is proposed to expand the portfolio of the hedge fund
