Expansion of the Investment Portfolio of the Industry Based Hedge Fund

The bachelor's thesis deals with a proposal for expansion of the investment portfolio of the industry-based hedge fund. In the theoretical part, two types of investment funds are described, however, the hedge funds and the terms related to them are outlined in more detail. The selected tools of financial analysis are also discussed. The practical part of the thesis begins with the definition of the statute and management requirements of the fund. Then an initial selection of the companies follows. The chosen companies were further analyzed by means of the financial ratios, then the companies were compared to each other and verified by a bankruptcy model.
