This diploma thesis deals with a design and manufacture of a scanner that is used for online monitoring of a large-scale 3D printing of concrete mixtures. The aim is to design a scanner usable with an active print head designed at VUT. The scanner works on the principle of active laser triangulation, where a laser line is projected on an extruded material immediately behind the nozzle. The projection of the laser line on the extruded materiál is captured by a camera. During the design, FEM analysis was used due to the sizing of the main parts of the scanner depending on the deformations caused by the operating load.
