2 pagesThis paper deals with the magnetic behavior of an iron-silicon thin sheet, submitted to biaxial stresses. It is well known that the magnetic behavior of a ferromagnetic material is sensitive to the microstructural state and / or application of a mechanical stress. Indeed, nonconventional experiments were performed on cruciform samples to approach the mechanical stress inside a rotating machines. The test presented in this paper has been carried out on the multiaxial testing machine ASTREE. Magnetic loading is ensured by single U-yoke. Measurements are carried out thanks to needle-B, H-coil sensors and Digital Image Correlation (DIC). Irreversible magnetic behavior is specially considered.
