The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a new apartment building on the outskirts of Týniště nad Orlicí. It is a four-storey apartment building with a basement. There are 14 residential units in the building, to which there is a separate cellar designed in the basement. On the ground floor, two barrier-free apartments are designed for people with reduced mobility. The floor plan is designed from two rectangles arched into each other. The building is based on foundation strips at a non-freezing depth. The vertical load-bearing structures of the above-ground floors are made of ceramic blocks, the underground floor is lined with lost formwork.
