The goal of this thesis is a design of a hydraulic tester for detection of the clearance of the truck front axle at the lines of technical inspection stations. The beginning of the thesis is dedicated to an introduction of the company, which is the first manufacturer of such device in the Czech Republic. The main content of the paper is the analysis of the current technological process of production from purchasing the material to the final assembly at the customer. In the last part of the thesis the technological innovation, which makes the current procedure more efficient as well as its financial assessment, is described
