Implementation of SCADA architecture into fiber optic seNSING systems

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of data control and acquisition using SCADA technology and the subsequent implementation of two-way communication. The theoretical examination also includes an analysis of the current state of use of SCADA in optical sensing systems. In view of the shortcomings of the available SCADA systems, our own software programmed in the LabVIEW development environment is implemented. The Modbus TCP protocol is used for communication with the myRIO platform. Part of the work is also the analysis of the maximum achievable throughput with the Modbus TCP protocol
