This master´s thesis is focused on design of suitable technology of cable bottom part of a switchboard, made from aluminum EN AW-1050A. As the semi-finished product is chosen the coil of sheet metal with a thickness of 2 mm. The production series of this component is 300 000 pieces per year. To select the most suitable technology for the production of solved component the evaluation of different available technologies was carried out, of which as the most appropriate method, the compound tool combining shearing and bending is selected.
