Aircraft safety Analysis due to bird strikes

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the problems of bird strikes. It examines significant factors that contribute to the occurrence of these strikes as well as potential damage to the affected aircraft and on the flight itself. The thesis also looks at legislative documents that specify requirements for the bird strike resistance of aircraft structures. Besides this, it gives an overview of current methods that are employed to ensure biological protection of airports with the aim of reducting the risk of bird strikes and pays attention to the effectivness of these methods
