Children suffering from a chronic disease

This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of tumour diseases in childhood. It describes the impact of disease 011 the personality of children and their near relations. Subsequently, the somatic, psychological and social aspects of the treatment are analysed. The thesis provides for the insight into the occupation of the medical staff working with children suffering from tumour diseases and it involves the issues of volunteers and canistherapy regarding the child patients. The case study consists of questionnaires. The final part presents conclusion of the findings gathered from the questionnaires and from the author's personal experience in volunteer work
