The institutionalized seniors education

The aim of the thesis is a pointing out the importance of educational activities in senior's life. The attention is focused on institutionalization of seniors education, its community support and educational possibilities for seniors. In the thesis are defined some basic concepts, the name of the science about seniors education, its subject and its position in the science system. Further there are noted some circumstances which was contributing to its formation, the importance of education both for seniors and for community. The attention is focused also on community support for seniors educational activities at the international, European and national level, on the preseniors and the seniors education
