Title: Fitness and compensation exercises in dancesport Objectives: The aim of this thesis is proposing and including fitness and compensation exercises into the dancers' training regime in order to enable them to increase their physical condition, improve their health, and reduce the risk of injury. Methods: Case study monitoring a group of four dancers aged 23 to 26. Using kinesiological analyses and measurements to diagnose health complications, contracted and weakened muscles (according to Janda), and propose the ideal intervention programme to reduce their occurrence.
