Bachelor thesis "The Death of L.I. Brezhnev and its Representation in the Czech Contemporary Press" illustrates the way in which contemporary journals informed the public about the death of Soviet leader Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev in November 1982. Research in this area will include the analysis of three Czechoslovak national newspapers (Rudé právo, Mladá fronta and Svobodné Slovo) and one regional newspaper (Večerní Praha). The reference period of the study is November 1982 (from November 1st 1982 till November 31st 1982).
