Ø Title: Involvement of specific muscles groups in ice-skating the forward direction with the help of surface EMG. Ø Aims: To measure and describe the structure involving specific muscles of the player. Ø Methods: Surface EMG analysis and simple kinematic analysis. Ø Results: Comparison of the muscles groups involved in ice-skating was different as well as the ice-skating technique. Ø Key words: Hockey, skating, surface electromyography, kinematic analysis
