The West-Berlin question and foreign policy of the FRG 1969-1974

The bachelor work The West-Berlin question and foreign policy of the FRG, 1969-1974 analyses the foreign policy of the Federal Government of FRG in Brandt's era. The aim of Brandt's Ostpolitik was the normalization of relations with GDR and other Eastern Block states. The Federal Government was working on conclusion of renunciation of force and renunciation of the threat of force treaties with these countries in the first half of the 70's. The easing of tension in Europe would be unattainable without an agreement regulating conditions in Berlin. Therefore, the work is also concerned with mutual relations between USA and USSR and with their impact on inter-German relations and the situation in Berlin
