Religious Education at Primary and Secondary School. A Public Attitudes to the Question.

My diploma thesis is divided into two parts - the theoretical one and the practical one. In my opinion, people perceive religion as a natural part of the general education, according to the bibliography and my own experience. Not only this. People, mainly young people, are open-minded to faith. It assumes people are able to understand these things which only religion can bring them. It pays heed to this topic in the practical part of my work. There is also an emphasis on the school teaching of religion in history in this work. It concerns the personality of teacher who teaches religion (the qualification of the teacher of religion). Furthermore, it also concerns the status of religion, the church schools and Churches in the contemporary rule of law in the Czech Republic
