Human papillomaviruses are etiological agent of large variety of diseases. More than 100 HPV types were found and HPV types can be divided into high risk group a low risk group of HPV. The most serious disease that HPV are responsible for is cervical cancer. Two different vaccines were developed to prevent cervical cancer. Bivalent vaccine Cervarix that is designed to prevent from HPV types 16 and 18, which cause about 70% of cervical cancer cases. Quadrivalent vaccine Silgard that prevents infection, besides HPV type 16 and 18, from HPV types 6 and 11 - types causing genital warts
