The dissertation is focused on the self-concept of students and adults who have learning disabilities. The general charakcteristic of learning disorders and their symptoms is in the theoretical part. The diagnostics and principles of reeducation are clarified. The secondary symptoms and the impact of child failure on his future professional career are described in the next chapter. The difficulties of pupils suffering from lerning disabilities is highlighted. The practical part deals with the self-concept of students and adults who have to deal with the problems associated with learning. There are records from their teachers and classmates too. I examined seven pupils on secondary school and five adults in my dissertation
