PhDr. Jiří Hrabinec, CSc. Abstrakt: This thesis deals with the views of younger school children on matters of physical activity, sports and healthy lifestyle. The theoretical part covers the definition of the terms health and healthy lifestyle. This is followed by a description of the characteristics of children of primary school age and a list of terms related to the topics family, sports and exercise, nutrition, obesity and its treatment. The practical part describes the research and the methods that were used. The research was conducted at a primary school in Čelakovice and the participants were children aged between 10 and 11 years from the fourth grade.
