The thesis proposes a sequence learning approach that uses the mechanism of fine grain self-organization. The manuscript initially starts by situating this effort in the perspective of contributing to the promotion of cellular computing paradigm in computer science. Computation within this paradigm is divided into a large number of elementary calculations carried out in parallel by computing cells, with information exchange between them.In addition to their fine grain nature, the cellular nature of such architectures lies in the spatial topology of the connections between cells that complies with to the constraints of the technological evolution of hardware in the future.
