Czech glass in sacral architecture in the 2nd half of the 20th century This bachelor thesis introduces Czech glass in sacral architecture in the 2nd half of the 20th century that was influenced by the totalitarian regime in the Czechoslovakia and reflects changes after the Second Vatican Council. I focused on the best-known glass designers Stanislav Libenský/ Jaroslava Brychtová, Bohumila Eliáš, Jan Exnar and stained glass designers Ludvík Kolek, Jan Jemelka and Karel Rechlík. I highlighted several of their realizations. After the velvet revolution in 1989, sacral architecture is different especially in the number of executions.
