The Development of the intensity of alcohol-related mortality in regions of the Czech Republic in 1994-2009 Abstract The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the development of the intensity of alcohol-related mortality in regions of the Czech Republic in 1994-2009. Three categories of causes of death related to alcohol are selected according to the classification chosen. The author analyses the intensity of mortality from all causes alcohol-related mortality, from cause of death of alcoholic liver disease and from external causes of death related to alcohol.
