8 ANGLICKÁ ANOTACE Summer missions of Czech Dominicans 2002-2007 The work describes the one-week summer missions of Czech Dominicans which took place in the years 2002-2007 in several places of the Czech Republic. The thesis examines the need for the missions, their contents, and the theoretical background based on church documents. It discusses the reasons for the missions in the Czech Republic, the preparation of the missions, as well as the formation and education of the missionaries. The work documents the process of the mission, the community life of the missionaries, and the areas of their work.
