Nikola Tesla - Genius who changed the world This bachelor thesis tells the story of life and work of Serbian inventor Nikola Tesla and it's mainly dedicated to years, which he spent in America. In the context of that time it highlights the importance of his inventions, some of which have significantly affected today's technology. The largest part of the work, occupy two Tesla's long life disputes which affected his career and personal life. The first one of these, "war of currents", was between Tesla and Edison. The second one between Tesla and Marconi passed because of invention of radio. The development of both disputes is described from the historical, economical and technological side, which focuses on the consequences for today's world. At the end of the text, there is a brief presentation of lesser-known Tesla's inventions and various recognitions which he received for his contribution to science
