Orientace, 1966-1967. Literature, art and criticism.

This work discusses the first two years of the magazine Orientace (1966, 1967). It describes how this bimonthly issued magazine works towards outside environment - how it communicates with the public and other magazines and how they react back. It also focuses on describing the structure of the journal - whether it has fixed sections, editors, topics for analysis, what disappeared from the contents during years 1966/67 and on the other hand what was added. The continuous formats of the magazine such as: Kulatý stůl, 1 + 1 = 2, Slovo má..., Kritický metr na metr knih are analysed more in detail. The magazine Orientace itself serves as a main source, next contemporary reactions and criticism in other periodicals and cited professional literature were used. The contribution of this thesis is the enclosure - annotated bibliography of the first two years with the authors and subject index
