Foreign art exhibitions in Prague 1945 -1953

The thesis will focus on the foreign exhibitions in Prague at prague associations and art galleries betwen yers 1945 - 1953. The heading of every one of chronologicaly sorted chapters will contain a brief insight into the political and cultural situation of Czechoslovakia, which should help the reader to grasp the whole context. The theoretical articles from relevant period will illustrate the shift from "formalism" to socialistic realism as well as types of exhibitions, their historical context and feedback they got from the czechoslovakian artistic community
