This thesis deals with the differences in the intensity and the direction of competitive anxiety among ski racers with different amount of experience at various competitive levels. The participants of the research were male adult and junior alpine skiers performing at various competitive levels (n= 66; M = 21,50; SD = 4,02). The participants completed the CSAI-2 inventory including additional direction subscales (Jones, Swain, 1992). Neither multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) nor two-way univariate analysis of variance (two-way ANOVA) revealed any significant interaction or main effects of the amount of experience on the competitive anxiety intensity and direction.
