Open Access institutional repositories in the Czech Republic

The bachelor's thesis concentrates on analysis and description of current state of open access institutional repositories in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis describes changes of scholarly communication, which led to development of open access movement, basics and methods of open access and open access movement in the Czech Republic. Besides it deals with open access policies of Czech institutions and involvement of Czech open repositories in international projects. The practical part contains the analysis of selected institutional repositories. The analysis concentrates on institutional policies of self-archiving, content of repository and its availability. It also deals with involvement of repositories in international projects, visibility of repositories and with software that the repositories use.
