North Bohemian panel construction: Comparison of housing estates Severní Terasa, Ruprechtice and Březenecká

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is a comparison of three selected North Bohemian housing estates, which are the Březenecká housing estate in Chomutov, the Severní Terasa housing estate in Ústí nad Labem and the Ruprechtice housing estate in Liberec. These housing estates will be compared within three categories: construction and used technology; architecture and aesthetics of the housing estate; and demographic structure of the housing estate. These housing estates were selected according to the principles of comparability. In all three cases, these housing estates are panel buildings, designed in the 1960s and their construction began in 1970 at the latest. All of the housing estates were built in the North Bohemian Region. In addition to the comparison of housing estates, this work also contains a theoretical insight into the history of the construction of panel buildings in Czechoslovakia
