Theology of The Twelve Tribes Community

The Theology of the Twelve Tribes Movement Abstract: Based on the theological literature of the Twelve Tribes movement, interwiews with the members, and observations in the czech community, this study brings a rewiew of the basic beliefs of this new religious movement. The study focuses on the biblical motives that are the main sources for the movement`s theology and for the everyday life. The study summaries the eschatological beliefs of the movement and comes to a conclusion that the eschatological wiew is the leading motive in the theoretical beliefs as well as the everyday life of the movement. The study finds that not only is the identification with the exclusive Holy Nation importatnt for the movement`s theology, it also determines the interactions with the outer society
