Specifics of communication in kindergarten

(in English): The present bachelor thesis examines basic specifics of communication in kindergarten. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to both general and specific communication between a teacher and children. The main focus is on communication functions upon which communication is built. The thesis also offers a basic insight into the Czech preschool education system and briefly presents alternative educational programs with special focus on the program Step by Step practiced in the kindergarten in which data were collected for the practical part of the thesis. The research reported consists of qualitative descriptive analyses of frequently repeated characteristics of the communication between a teacher and children. The conclusion calls for further longitudinal research in this area of communication
