Skinhead subculture

Skinhead subculture exists for already fifty years. Its history relates closely to United Kingdom, where it has been founded and has divided into numerous fractions, which on the first glimpse might appear confusing. I have undertaken my research in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, strictly speaking in capitals and their outskirts of both countries. I have focused on history of this subculture and its nowadays forms in my diploma. I have concentrated to visual and musical expressions of skinhead subculture, its symbolism, value system and world-view; as well as major population view on the subculture. Information used was gathered from available literature, by work with respondents both members of the subculture and major population
