Socially orientated prose of Karel Nový in 20th and 30th of 20th century

The bachelor thesis deals with socially focused prose of writer Karel Nový in 20s and 30s of the 20th century. The first part is devoted to life and work of Karel Nový in the context of this time. Following chapters are focused on the four defined books - Městečko Raňkov, Samota Křešín, Peníze a Chceme žít. The key area of interest is the form of the space and conception of characters in these books. The aim of this work is to remind these books and to define their basic characteristics in comparison to one other
