How we have lived. Everyday Life in the Region of Kladno in the 19th and 20th Centuries.

Bachelor thesis focuses on the everyday life of one family from the early 19th century to the eighties of the 20th century. Its aim is to document and provide closer look at everyday life and family relationships in a peasant, artisan, clerical and merchant family in the region Kladno and assess what has been considered here typical or different. The thesis attempts to trace what has changed and what has persisted in the lives of the most families between the early 19th and mid-20th century. Bachelor thesis will focus on the effects of industrialization and urbanization, the First and the Second World War and the advent of the Communist regime.
