International Protestant Churches as an Intercultural Environment

The diploma thesis entitled International Protestant Churches as an Intercultural Environment deals with international protestant churches, which are currently located in many countries around the world. It presents their existence, characteristic features, self-concept, reasons for their origin and history. Special attention is paid to the intercultural aspect and the question of how deep layers of culture can manifest themselves in intercultural coexistence. Attention is also paid to the issue of denominational diversity. The thesis also deals with practical aspects of service in international churches and gives brief examples from the environment of individual churches which relate to worship and church life. The diploma thesis elaborates written materials mainly from the field of practical theology, which help to form a broader view and opinions on international protestant churches and takes into account the aspect of intercultural and denominational diversity
