[EN] The thesis is organized as follows. First, the governing NAVIER-STOKES equations are introduced and rewritten into their dimensionless form. Next, averaging methods are presented and the Reynolds-averaged NAVIER-STOKES equations given. Subsequently, semi-empirical relations for the skin friction and the heat transfer distributions of a at plate are presented. Next, the turbulence modeling is studied. Then, the boundary conditions and the computational mesh are given. In the results chapter, the ow con- guration is given, along with a grid study of the at plate simulation.
