Aim and Objective: Endodontic retreatment is indicated in the event of a failure of initial treatment of the root canal and of an initial treatment that looks to be correctable with retreatment. This in-vitro study was designed to assess the efficacy of passive ultrasonic irrigation in endodontic retreatment, by employing scanning electron microscopes, on the cleanliness of dentine tubules with and without solvent in curved root channels.
