Palestinian press’s tackling of the May – 2021 aggression against Gaza: A comparative analytical study

With the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan in April 2021, the Zionist occupation forces launched a massive aggression on the Gaza Strip that lasted for eleven days. This study discusses the Palestinian newspapers’ coverage of the Zionist crimes. The problem of the study is to identify the journalistic tackling of the issues of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip during the Battle of Seif Al-Quds in May 2021, and the extent of the Palestinian newspapers’ interest in these issues. This study is a descriptive research, it uses the survey method and a content analysis tool to collect the data. The study reaches a set of results, the most important of which is that the two newspapers focused mainly on topics related to aggression events by (100%), which is a large percentage because these  newspapers deal with this issue as the most important event. The study shows that positive topics came in a greater percentage than other topics by (98%), as they are present in a very large percentage in Palestine newspaper by (100%), and in Al-Hayat Al-Jadida by (95 %)
