This study was designed to investigate the effect of addition several concentrations of royal jelly to the media used in the in vitro maturation process of Iraqi sheep. The ovary was brought from the Al-Shulla slaughterhouse and transferred to the obstetric laboratory at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Baghdad by a thermal insulating box containing the physiological solution with the antibiotic penicillin at a temperature of 30-38°C. In the laboratory, the ovaries were washed with a neutral buffer solution and then the oocytes were collected by two different methods slicing ovaryor follicle aspiration.
