Zinc and iron, for example, are crucial trace elements for pregnant women's health. This study has been conducted for the evaluation of zinc and ferritin status of pregnant women since these elements have significant effects on health of the pregnant women as well as the growing embryo in Al Muthanna Province/ Iraq.
