In this paper, an effort has been made to learn the Higher Secondary School Students (HSSS) educational achievement in commerce with respect to parental encouragement. Academic achievement in commerce designed and analyzed by the researcher and Parental Encouragement Scale (PES) developed by K. Sudhakar and Dr. N.O.Nellaiyapen (2016), were employed to gather the data sample of 580 HSSS studying in Salem District, Tamilnadu State in India. The review method had been followed and simple arbitrary sampling model was utilized in this work.
