This systematic review seeks to provide high-quality evidence on expression of genes in the pathogenesis of ameloblastoma, dentigerous cyst and odontogenic keratocyst. Until 2021, a systematic electronic literature search was undertaken utilizing keywords and MESH search phrases in the PubMed/Medline, Cochrane Central, Scopus, and EBSCO databases, as well as Google Scholar. In addition, the reference lists of the systematic reviews included in the study were manually searched. Articles were evaluated critically, and the MINORS scale was used to determine the risk of bias.
