Introduction: Constipation is a frequent ailment that is especially widespread in the elderly, with up to 40% of community-dwelling individuals reporting symptoms. Methods: quasi-experimental study design was carried out (Dar Al-Shafaa governmental home and Basmat Al-Rahma privet nursing home).
