This article summarizes the recent advancements in diagnostic aids in Orthodontics which has helped revolutionize treatment planning for the Orthodontic fraternity. Dental diagnostic records have advanced from study casts and periapical x-rays to cone beam computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound.
