However it remains not much used in industry because of its experimental complexity. Digital holography has developed because of its ease of use, but the low resolution of the sensors requires it to be partly compensated by image processing techniques. Our new approach for the processing of in-line holograms, based on an inverse problem approach, leads to a significant improvement in axial resolution.
