Does financial security of older persons in Indonesia adequate? Analysis on household incomes of rural older person is particularly important because the financial security in old age in Indonesia is yet to be improved. So far most of older people need to continue working as they have no sufficient income to earn a living in old age. The present paper discusses the result of a cross-sectional survey conducted to analyze the pattern of expenditure of older persons in Kota Batu, East Java, Indonesia.
