In order to assess the consequences of global warming, lacustrine systems are well-indicated to infer past natural (climate and tectonic) and anthropogenic interactions over long time scales. Targeting a poorly documented area, the Auvergne region and the Loire and Adour-Garonne watersheds, this work clarifies relationships between sedimentary dynamics and natural and anthropogenic forcings during the Holocene with a regional multi-sites comparison including natural lakes and reservoirs.
