Star formation, a fundamental process in astrophysics, remains only partially understood. Several processes are known to interact during all the steps over a large range of scales. It is therefore of highest importance to understand the dynamics of the interstellar medium, in which stars form. In particular, it is now well-known that the structure of the interstellar medium is strongly affected by feedback processes emanating from the stars that form in it.
